Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Drew Quartermaine’s (Cameron Matheson) unexpected decision to run for Congress surprised Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco).
A component of Drew’s choice involved changing their last name from Cain to Quartermaine for both him and their daughter Scout Quartermaine (Cosette Abinante). Sam, though, is concerned that Drew’s approach might do more damage to Scout than just rebranding.
General Hospital Spoilers – Drew Quartermaine could find himself in the middle of a scandal
Sam is mostly concerned about the potential harm that Drew’s political schemes might cause to Scout. Drew already has a convoluted backstory.
He used to be indoctrinated into thinking Steve Burton’s character, Jason Morgan, was his twin brother. Along with his lover at the time, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Drew also just got out of prison for insider trading.
Scout might have trouble merely from that, but Sam isn’t aware yet that a greater scandal might be on the horizon!
GH Spoilers – Drew Quartermaine is sleeping with Nina Reeves
Drew has been having sexual relations with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) for a number of months. As Editor-in-Chief of Crimson Magazine for Aurora Media, Nina works for Drew, therefore their sexual relationship will be scandalous enough on its own.
It’s not even the worst of it, though. Additionally, Drew just planted a kiss on Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), Nina’s daughter, who is wed to Drew’s nephew Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell).
Despite their vow that a kiss like theirs would never occur again, Willow and Drew are clearly highly drawn to one another.
General Hospital Spoilers – Sam McCall may get an eyeful!
Sam might hear Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) and Josh Kelly (Cody Bell) talking about the circumstances. Sasha not only knows that Drew and Nina are dating, but she also saw Drew and Willow share a kiss.
Should Sam somehow find out about Drew’s behavior toward both women, she might be compelled to conceal Drew’s dark secrets in order to keep Michael and their daughter safe. Drew will probably hear from Sam that he should avoid both Sam and Nina, but will he be able to do so?
What do you think?
Do Sam’s concerns about Drew’s potential for politics make sense? Will she find out all of Drew’s little black secrets? Will she keep them to herself if that’s the case?
