Coronation Street star’s exit ‘sealed’ after 14 years following game-changing bombshell

Fans of Coronation Street were shocked to learn that Jack Webster, a teenager from Weatherfeld, had been arrested after admitting to causing the fire at Stefan Brent’s office building.

Watchers of Coronation Street were gripped as Jack Webster admitted to igniting the fire at Stefan Brent’s office building.

Regular viewers of the ITV soap opera will remember that Stefan (Paul Opacic) and his wife Abi Webster (Sally Carman) have been at odds with Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) for a long time.

In a plot involving hate crimes, Corey Brent (Maximus Evans), Stefan’s son, killed Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni), the son of Abi, in 2021. Stefan recently produced deepfake footage of Abi, in a bizarre turn of events, but the cops were unable to help.

Abi is positive that Stefan created the deepfakes in retaliation for her rejection to appear in a documentary, which was developed by Stefan’s firm and featured Corey as a hero among his jail football squad.

Kevin recently broke into Stefan’s offices and seized a burner phone along with information that linked him to the deepfakes.

According to the Express, Kevin’s adolescent son Jack Webster (Kyran Bowes) became embroiled in the deepfake scandal last week after his classmates made fun of the video.

On Monday, July 29, Stefan cleverly got the burner phone back by enticing Kevin to leave and convincing Jack to let him inside.

Subsequently, Kevin was taken into custody by PC Craig Tinker (Colson Smith) on suspicion of breaking into Stefan’s property. Kevin told his family he would be attending a plea hearing the next week and that he would have to admit to the charge when he got back home.

When Abi returned from her outing, she discovered Kevin deeply absorbed in an internet news article concerning a fire at Stefan’s office building. This marked the end of the episode. She said, sourly, that he deserved it.

Kevin expressed his thoughts that Abi was the reason behind the fire during Wednesday’s (July 31) visit to Weatherfield.

Kevin attested that the fire started in Stefan’s automobile and quickly spread to the offices of his publishing company.

Abi added to Kevin over their morning coffee, “Thank god no one was inside,” implying that the arson assault was carried out for insurance grounds.

But a few hours later, the police arrived at the car garage and asked Kevin and Abi to report to the station so they could be voluntarily questioned about the fire.

After denying any role in the arson attack, the two were set free. But Jack made a shocking revelation when they got home.

Jack told Abi, “I was just trying to get my own back, I was just trashing his car,” admitting that he had set the fire as part of a plan to exact revenge on Stefan.

When Kevin discovered what Jack had done, he was furious, but the mechanic tried to protect his son by turning himself in to the authorities.

Kevin’s story was rejected by the police, and shortly after Jack appeared at the police station and admitted everything, he was taken into custody on charges of arson. Will Jack be imprisoned for his crime?
