General Hospital Spoilers: Brennan The Next Stopgap Keeping Carly and Jason Apart?

According to General Hospital spoilers, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is the target of FBI Agent Jack Brennan (Charles Mesure), and it’s unclear what he really wants from her. When Brennan first came to town months ago, he took his time getting Carly ready.

Though it appeared at the time that his visits to Bobbie’s were solely for the purpose of getting to know the ex-wife of the most well-known criminal leader in the area, he and Carly clicked instantly in ways he could never have imagined. Put another way, there’s a good chance that Brennan genuinely wants to investigate his genuine interest in Carly.

Can he win her heart and get into her bed with charm? Or is this something to do with a secret plan he’s carrying out that demands he approach his target via Carly?

At this point, it’s difficult to say, although he might pose a challenge to Carly’s relationship with Jason Morgan (Steve Burton).

General Hospital Spoilers — Carly and Jason Have Been on Pause

Carly and Jason have been pining for one other for what feels like an eternity. We obviously meant more to them both than they had anticipated on the night of their improvised wedding since we were so close.

But we knew that our expectations of witnessing this couple’s romance would end immediately when Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) entered and stopped them. Since then, we’ve been waiting for Jason to return and win Carly over. Why hasn’t he, considering he’s been at Port Chuck for almost six months?

When the charges against Carly were dropped and Special Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington) lost the ability to control either of them, it was a huge relief for both Jason and Carly.

Jason could now be upfront and honest with Carly about his affections for her without having to disguise the fact that he was an FBI informant.

However, Sonny was also becoming more conscious of his overuse of drugs and regaining his sanity, which helped him reestablish his alliance and friendship with Jason and Carly. Although supporters are concerned that Sonny would now obstruct Jason and Carly’s relationship, it doesn’t appear that he will have to as long as Brennan is alive.

General Hospital Spoilers — Jack Has a New Plan for Carly

Carly insisted that it wasn’t a smart idea when Brennan invited her back to his hotel suite to finish an expensive bottle of wine. Why not? Would one thing trigger another, putting them in a precarious situation?

Nevertheless, she didn’t mind if he bought her a drink at the hotel bar and struck up a conversation with her, just like he used to do across the bar at Bobbie’s. Even while Carly might be drawn to Brennan by his charms and accent, he might be manipulating her for entirely other reasons.

But it is unimportant. Carly won’t be gazing in Jason’s direction as long as she’s enjoying their flirtatious game of cat and mouse.
