Charlie later acknowledged to The Sun, saying, “Kiki didn’t sign up for this show, but I did.” That was not how I wanted her to feel. I was unaware that this was taking place. That was the lowest period of my life. It was Kiki’s chance to visit me, and my mother approved her presence because, I believe, she anticipated that Kiki would. When I realized she had been behind that door, I felt like I had been kicked.
“I was really depressed for us both, and thereafter, I couldn’t stop thinking about it and seeing Kiki’s expression. She would have been anxious to be on the show and thrilled to see me, but she would have also been unhappy when we didn’t complete the task.
“I went straight up and met with the program bosses after that. They assured me she was fine after giving her a bowl of ice cream, saying she “had a moment.”
Is Charlie Brooks married?
Charlie does not have a spouse. After her breakup from Tony Trueman, Charlie began up a romance with architect Ben Hollington in 2012. Mutual friends introduced the two, and that’s how they first met. Before she entered the I’m A Celeb jungle, Charlie went on to declare their relationship.
However, the pair called it quits in 2018. During White Wine Question Time, Charlie complimented Ben and called him a “wonderful” individual.
Charlie shuts down EastEnders co-star romance rumours
In 2022, rumors circulated that Charlie had become close to EastEnders actor Max Bowden, who played Ben Mitchell, following his breakup with Shona McGarty.
She has also served as a bit of a shoulder for him to weep on. Max looks up to Charlie as a terrific role model, an insider told The Sun. They continued, “On set, they’ve gotten closer than ever, and Max knows he can always count on her for help.”
But Charlie explained what their friendship was really about. She said, “I’ve known Max for years,” to the publication. He resembles a kid sibling in many ways.
Charlie ‘signs up to kinky dating app’
Charlie is thought to be unmarried at the moment. “I’ve been single for pretty much four years and, hand on heart, it’s been the most important time of my life,” she stated in an interview with Closer Online in 2021.
The television favorite apparently registered for a fairly risqué dating website back in 2023. Charlie allegedly made a Feeld profile for singles looking to meet couples looking for threesomes, according to The Sun.

The soap opera diva said on This Morning that she spent four years creating the sex toy, which has a distinctive “U” form.

How Charlie Brooks lost weight
Back in 2005, Charlie launched a successful workout DVD, Before & After, which explained how she lost two stone in two months. It was an aerobic exercise set to disco music followed by a Pilates cool-down. It became as the best-selling workout DVD release in the UK.
However, years later, Charlie acknowledged that the procedure had a detrimental effect on her sense of self, with the metamorphosis having significant “long-term” ramifications.
In 2024, Charlie gave an explanation to The Sun’s Fabulous, saying, “I got really tiny and released a keep-fit video years ago, which had a long-term negative impact on my body image.”
She went on to say that she felt “nothing but hatred” for herself and that she called herself “disgusting” and “fat.”
Will Charlie Brooks return to EastEnders?
Charlie’s final appearance in EastEnders was in December 2022 as Janine. After years gone, she made an unexpected comeback to the BBC serial opera in 2021. But eighteen months later, she decided to step down.
It will be remembered by fans that Janine spent five years in prison following the events of Christmas Day 2022, which allowed her partner Mick Carter—played by Danny Dyer—to leave the show.
Charlie was questioned about a possible comeback earlier this year. “I have no idea,” she said to Metro. Who knows what will happen in five years? I’m not sure if the soap operas will still be around. People watch TV these days, in my opinion, quite differently.
However, I usually advise against saying never to Janine. I consider EastEnders to be a blessing because it served as my training ground and I enjoy returning there.
