Coronation Street’s Liam McCheyne declares love for new ITV soap co-star

Sydney Martin, his cobbles co-star, is the love of actor Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan Wilson, Sean Tully’s son, in Coronation Street, an ITV serial opera.

The young cast members of Coronation Street shone as they celebrated a significant birthday. Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan Wilson, the son of Sean Tully, expressed his love for Sydney Martin, also known as Betsy Swain, his soap partner. The couple was seen celebrating Elle Mulvaney’s 22nd birthday at a party. They looked cozy in a cute picture taken at Whitefield’s 8 Manchester, a popular Chinese restaurant.

After striking a stylish pose with Sydney, Liam joined the celebration to celebrate Amy Barlow actress Elle Mulvaney’s big day.

Liam looked dapper in a traditional black shirt, sleek trousers, and white sneakers. He also put an arm around his co-star Cait Fitton, who steals the show as Lauren Bolton. With her seductive leather skirt contrasted against a stylish cream turtleneck, daring strappy heels, and a striking leopard-print clutch, Cait stole the show.

Sydney looked stunning in a khaki pullover that matched Caits’s, paired with a fun black skirt and sophisticated knee-high boots. Her golden hair fell loosely over a fashionable leather bag that she carried on her arm.

Sydney wrote, “My beauties!” in a heartfelt remark on Liam’s picture, basking in the warmth of their friendship. According to the Liverpool Echo, Liam echoed the feelings by posting a touching tribute on his own feed honoring their astrological connection, saying, “Love love love!”

The rest of the cast was not one to pass up the opportunity to show their happiness, with Elle even adding, “Oh this ateee!” and Vicky Myers, who played TV mother Lisa Swain from Sydney, said, “Gorgeous xx.”

Liam was in to the hospital a few weeks ago for an unidentified illness, but he went to X in early August to praise the medical system: “Good morning, happy birthday to our incredible National Health Service.” In particular, I want to thank everyone at the Royal Oldham for looking after me so well these past two days. Without them, we would be in such a mess.”

After years away from the cobbles, Liam has returned alone to the part of Dylan on Coronation Street, having previously shared it with his twin brother Connor. Meanwhile, Connor has given up acting to play professional cricket.

Liam’s acting abilities have allowed him to portray a variety of parts in a number of television shows, including ITV’s The Bay and the classic revival All Creatures Great and Small. He has also acted in the film Last Tango in Halifax as Harrison.

Since debuting on our screens in 2011, he has made cameos in more than 100 episodes of Corrie alone.
