It’s a busy moment on the cobbles since Carla and Lisa are developing a romance and Gail’s departure is scheduled to air next month.

These five major spoilers for the holiday season aren’t for everyone, though.

Coronation Street Christmas 1. Gail’s departure

In anticipation of the holiday season, which many Gail fans will be dreading, the Metro has published a number of Corrie spoilers.

In an episode that will be a heartbreaking occasion for many soap opera viewers as they say goodbye to an icon, Gail’s engagement to Jesse Chadwick sets the stage for Christmas Day.

Gail’s departure will undoubtedly have a significant impact on the Platts, who have recently faced numerous challenges.

“On Christmas Day, we can’t tell a story about her departure without it being steeped in nostalgia, and there’s tons of that in this episode – hopefully people will be crying, laughing, gasping, and sitting back afterwards and feeling that it was just what they needed,” producer Kate Brooks told the Metro.

2. Romance for Carla and Lisa

Carla and Lisa are currently shown on film kissing and sleeping together after succumbing to temptation. But then Lisa changed her mind and made the decision to keep some distance from Betsy.

However, this separation won’t stay long because the two women decide to try dating this Christmas.

And when they make their relationship public, it’s going to be a very romantic time of year for these two beloved figures.

Carla and Lisa emerge from 2025 “stable” and “strong,” despite dealing with certain challenges. It appears that Swarla might be for keeps only.

3. The return of the Bethany, Daniel and Daisy love triangle

Daisy and Bethany are the two ladies Daniel is “in love with.” Additionally, he must make a big choice this Christmas.

This winter, the reappearance of the love triangle involving Daisy, Daniel, and Bethany is expected to be a major theme. Daniel finds himself in a difficult circumstance and is unsure of what to do.

But in the end, he’ll have to choose a woman, right?

Coronation Street Christmas 4. Trouble ahead for Shona and David

Shona and David will inevitably clash when Clayton returned. David feels no pity for Kylie’s killer, but Shona is determined to be there for her son.

Shona won’t be happy since David concealed the visitation orders from the prison. And now David had to think for Max as well.

Kate Brooks hinted: “She makes some really bad decisions, but I think what’s important about David and Shona is that they can both make a lot of mistakes, but their love is so strong.”

Can the pair, however, recover from this?
