EastEnders: Does Cindy leave Walford? All we know about potential exit after Ian’s offer

Ian’s offer didn’t go over well…

On last night’s episode of EastEnders (Tuesday, February 18), Ian extended a tempting proposition to Cindy, urging her to leave Walford and start fresh away from his family. However, Cindy wasn’t interested in taking up the offer.

But could she have a change of heart? Will Cindy reconsider Ian’s proposal? Here’s what we know so far.

Ian’s Proposal

In the episode, Cindy accused Ian of attacking her at Christmas, pointing Phil’s gun at him. Ian, however, insisted it was Peter before Kathy entered the scene and shut down that idea. Instead, she confessed that she had attacked Cindy with a shovel, and her only regret was not finishing the job.

After getting shot in the arm by Cindy, Ian went outside and made his offer. Cindy threatened to report Kathy to the police, but Ian warned her that he would make her life miserable and help his mother get away with it if she stayed in Walford.

Ian then offered Cindy money to leave, but she refused. Instead, she pushed Ian in front of Reiss’s car, narrowly avoiding a hit.

Is Cindy Leaving?

At the moment, Cindy doesn’t want to accept Ian’s offer, but this could change, especially with the looming pub fire.

Ahead of the live episode, Michelle Collins, who plays Cindy, confirmed she wouldn’t be appearing in the live episode on Thursday, February 20. This has led to speculation that Cindy could choose to leave Walford following tonight’s (Wednesday, February 19) big pub fire. Alternatively, she might be caught in the explosion, leading to serious injury or even death instead of fleeing.

It’s unclear whether Cindy will truly leave the show, but with so many bridges burned in Walford, it might be in her best interest to take Ian’s offer and leave.
