Football dominates the schedule once again…

Coronation Street will not be on air tonight (Friday, February 21) as ITV undergoes a major schedule shake-up.

The soap typically airs on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but it won’t be shown this evening.

With football taking over the lineup, here’s when Corrie will be back on screens.

Coronation Street not on tonight in schedule shakeup

Coronation Street typically airs on Fridays from 8pm-9pm, but that won’t be the case tonight. The soap has already broadcast its three episodes earlier this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

This means viewers have already seen all of this week’s Weatherfield drama, compensating for the absence of an episode tonight.

Instead, ITV’s main channel will be showing football from 7.30pm-10pm, with Portugal facing England in the UEFA Women’s Nations League. Kick-off is set for 7.45pm.

As a result, Coronation Street won’t return until next week, with the next episode airing on Monday (February 24) in its usual 8pm-9pm slot.
