The two are struck by a car in the middle of the street.
Julia, who portrays David’s partner Shona, has shared what viewers can expect, even teasing that David might be “bleeding to death.”

Next week, Nick and Sarah grow worried when they see David downing vodka at lunchtime.
Meanwhile, Kit advises Daniel to ask Daisy for proof that her unborn baby is his. Jenny feels uneasy, knowing Kit is actually the father.
Later, Daniel confronts Daisy and asks her to swear on the baby’s life that he is the father. Daisy abruptly runs out of the pub.
David, meanwhile, stumbles out of the pub and into the road. Shona arrives just in time to see a car speeding towards David, and suddenly Daisy appears—getting hit along with him.
Nick, Sarah, Daniel, Jenny, and Kit rush outside and are horrified to find David and Daisy seriously injured. Shona desperately tries to help David, fearing he is bleeding to death.
Jenny and Daniel are at Daisy’s side, pleading for her to wake up, while also fearing for the baby.
Kit soon starts asking questions about the crash—will he uncover who is responsible?
Julia Goulding teases David dying
Julia Goulding, who plays Shona, recently spoke to Entertainment Daily! and other outlets about the upcoming hit-and-run, where David fights for his life in the hospital.
Discussing David’s situation, Julia said, “It’s strange because he’s been acting suspiciously, and Shona is starting to get wary. As she’s driving down the street, she sees David standing in the middle of the road. Unlike Daisy, he’s not crossing.”
“Shona stops the car and gets out, thinking, ‘What is he doing?’ And then BAM, the car hits him.”
Teasing Shona’s reaction to the accident, Julia added, “In Shona’s mind, she thinks, ‘He’s dead, he’s going to bleed to death.’” But the question remains—can anything be done to save David?
