Jack P Shepherd seems to have accidentally dropped a huge spoiler for tonight’s episode of Coronation Street (Wednesday, March 5), hinting that David dies. In tonight’s episode, David is injured in a hit-and-run after planning to stage his death to protect his family from Harvey. On This Morning, Jack P Shepherd has apparently revealed that David dies in tonight’s episode.

In tonight’s Coronation Street episode, both David and Daisy are injured in a hit-and-run on the Street.
David says his goodbyes to his family without them realizing he has arranged for Andy to kill him at 2pm. Drunk and ready to die, David believes his life insurance will be enough to keep Harvey away from his family. However, David is hit by a car and starts to bleed out, with Daisy injured as collateral damage.
On today’s This Morning, Jack P Shepherd appeared to reveal a major spoiler about tonight’s episode, confirming that David dies.
When asked about his long tenure on the ITV soap, Jack teased: “I think it’s about 25 years next month; it would’ve been nice to reach that milestone, but sadly, tonight’s the end, but I’ve loved every minute of it.”
Ben Shephard then asked if tonight’s episode marks the actual end of his character, with Jack explaining: “Yes, I can’t believe we’ve managed to keep it under wraps for so long, but I think everybody will enjoy it.”

Coronation Street fans who watched Jack’s interview this morning can’t believe he seemingly confirmed David’s apparent death before the episode aired.
They’ve taken to social media to express their shock, hoping Jack was just joking.
