Naga Munchetty offered a word of advice during the most recent episode of BBC Breakfast while speaking with a guest.
BBC Breakfast host Naga Munchetty had to intervene with a stern warning when her guest nearly uttered a “rude word” live on air.
On Friday’s episode (February 7), Naga and her co-presenter Charlie Stayt were back on screen, presenting the latest news updates from the UK and around the world.
During the broadcast, former Coronation Street actor Nigel Havers joined the iconic red sofa to talk about his career highlights and upcoming tour.
However, before Nigel could dive into the details of his tour, Naga was quick to warn him, as the title of his new show contained a word that could get the BBC programme into trouble.
Naga remarked, “What I’m most curious about is the name of your tour. Of course, we can’t say it because it includes a word that could be considered inappropriate.”

As Nigel tried to respond to Naga’s comment, she quickly interrupted him, exclaiming, “Don’t! Don’t!”
Nigel reassured her, saying, “No, I won’t say it! I would never! But I did check the word, and someone used it in the House of Commons about a year ago. The speaker paused, checked, and confirmed that it was fine.”
Naga agreed, adding, “It’s fine! But we’re not saying it on Breakfast TV.”
The actor then offered a more suitable alternative, describing it as “talking nonsense.”
Nigel’s tour, Talking B*****ks, will be his first solo show, where he shares a collection of humorous anecdotes with his audience.

To promote the show, Nigel shared a synopsis that read: “Here it is – my very first solo show. Just me, a stage, and a lifetime of wonderfully absurd stories to tell. You’ll get the full Havers experience: charm, humor, and definitely no running in slow motion.”
“I’ll be taking you on an entertaining journey through five decades in showbiz. From my early days as a hopeful drama student to the ups and downs of a career that’s included everything from Chariots of Fire and Empire of the Sun to Don’t Wait Up and some fantastic West End productions – and a good number of Palladium pantomimes.”
Nigel also teases his audience with: “Of course, there’ll be behind-the-scenes stories, moments of success (and failure), tales of pure madness, and plenty of talking nonsense.”
