The rugby match bumps Coronation Street from its regular time slot.
Coronation Street won’t be airing tonight (Friday, January 31) due to a schedule change caused by the rugby on ITV’s main channel.
The soap was shown on Monday and Wednesday this week, but there won’t be a third episode this week. Fans will have to wait until next week for more of the Weatherfield action. Here’s when it will next air.
No Coronation Street tonight
Coronation Street typically airs on Fridays from 8pm to 9pm, but tonight’s schedule will be temporarily altered.
There won’t be a new episode of the soap tonight due to the rugby match, which will occupy the usual time slot. The Six Nations Live coverage will air from 7:30pm to 10:35pm, with kick-off at 8:15pm, meaning Corrie can’t be broadcast.
Tonight’s match features France vs. Wales, with both teams vying for a win.
However, fans can expect Coronation Street to return next week, bringing plenty of drama, including the much-anticipated Platt house fire. The next episode will air on Monday, February 3rd, from 8pm-9pm, or be available from 7am on ITVX.
The soap will also air on Tuesday, February 4th, from 8pm-9pm, to make up for tonight’s missed episode.
Wednesday will return to the usual schedule, though the soap will not air on Friday, February 7th.
Huge fire destroys Platt house next week
Next week’s Coronation Street spoilers tease a devastating fire that breaks out at the Platt house, trapping Shona, Max, Toyah, and Nick inside.
Max becomes trapped in the blaze, and emergency services are seen carrying his lifeless body into an ambulance.
David reassures Shona that he had no involvement in the fire as they anxiously await news at the hospital.
Meanwhile, Leanne is seen pulling a box of matches from her coat pocket after falsely claiming she was elsewhere when the fire started. But who is truly responsible for starting the fire? And will everyone survive the terrifying ordeal?
