They’re arriving to honor their memories.
Martin Fowler’s funeral will be featured shortly after his heartbreaking death last week in EastEnders, with several members of the Fowler family arriving to bid him farewell.
Unfortunately, these Fowler appearances will be filled with emotion, as the people of Walford come together to honor the beloved figure in their community.
Here’s a list of those who will be making their way to the Square for this sorrowful event.

Bex Fowler
Bex, Martin’s daughter, is taking a break from her travels to return to Walford for his funeral.
Five years after leaving the show, Jasmine Armfield will reprise the role for a brief return.
During her time back, Bex will be grappling with everything that’s happened while she’s been away. A lot has changed—she now has a newborn sister, her dad has passed away, and her mum, Sonia, spent months in prison.
On her return to EastEnders, Jasmine said: “It’s wonderful to be back at EastEnders and see so many familiar faces. It feels amazing to come home, but for Bex, it’s an incredibly tough time because she’s lost her dad. She’s grown a lot from her years of travelling, so we’ll see a much more mature and grown-up Bex this time.”

EastEnders Fowlers returning for funeral: Vicki Fowler
Vicki Fowler hasn’t been seen in Walford for over 20 years, but she’s set to return to say farewell to her Uncle Martin.
Scarlett Alice Johnson last portrayed Vicki before leaving the show in 2004. However, this time around, the role will be recast, with Alice Haig stepping in.
While away from Walford, Vicki has been living in Australia, running a bar with her partner, Spencer Moon. But her family will be in for a surprise when she returns to the Square with a new man and family in tow.
Alice Haig shared: “I’m so excited! I’ve always been a fan of the show, and being born in February 1985, I’m the same age as EastEnders! It’s amazing to be playing a character like Vicki – we think we know her, but so much has changed. I’m looking forward to all the drama that’s coming in Albert Square.”

Vicki’s family
Vicki will return to Walford with a new man, Ross, and his son, Joel.
Sharon and Alfie will be surprised to see that Vicki has moved on from Spencer, but it looks like she’s serious about this new relationship.
Alex Walkinshaw, known for his roles in The Bill and Holby City, will play Ross, while newcomer Max Murray will portray Joel.
Alex said: “I’m really excited! I’ve had so many friends on EastEnders over the years and always hear such great things about it. The show is top-notch drama, and I’m eager to dive in. Ross is a solid, hardworking family man who always puts his loved ones first, and he’s very much in love with Vicki—but it won’t always be smooth sailing.”
Max shared: “It’s an absolute privilege and honor to join such a wonderful production with a lovely cast and crew. I’m really excited to introduce Joel to EastEnders viewers and to tell his story.”
