General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of February 24-28 promise an action-packed conclusion to sweeps month. So, who will be coming and going in the next few days and beyond? Keep reading to find out!

Baddie’s Goodbye

Cyrus Renault, portrayed by Jeff Kober, has officially left Port Charles after a memorable five-year run on General Hospital. His character, a psychopath who claimed to have found redemption, was shot by Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) during the February 20 episode and was pronounced dead shortly after.

Kober, who joined the show in 2020, won a Daytime Emmy in 2022 for Outstanding Supporting Actor.

In other departures, Guy Wilson’s temporary stint as Lucky Spencer came to an end. Wilson filled in for Jonathan Jackson, who played the role from February 18-19, but Jackson returned to the role on February 21. No explanation was given for Jonathan’s brief absence.

Welcome To Port Charles, Tobias!

Actor Charlie Besso made his debut on General Hospital as Tobias, the boyfriend of Aiden Spencer (Colin Cassidy), during the February 18 episode. While this marks his first role in daytime television, Besso has previously appeared in projects such as Fallout, Will Trent, and The Calling.

Will Kevin Collins Exit?

Soap fans recently learned that actor Jon Lindstrom, known for his roles as Kevin Collins and his unstable twin brother Ryan Chamberlain on General Hospital since 1992, has secured a role in the new CBS daytime drama Beyond the Gates (BTG).

The new series is filmed in Atlanta, while GH is shot in Los Angeles. Lindstrom will play Joey Armstrong, a shady casino owner. It’s important to note that Lindstrom is not under contract with GH, and it’s unclear whether his role on BTG will affect his status with the soap.

As of now, there has been no confirmation about whether Lindstrom will be leaving GH or balancing both roles. His most recent appearance on General Hospital was in December 2024.
