General Hospital Spoilers: Alum Kelly Monaco Finally Addresses What Comes Next

General Hospital spoilers reveal that after months of anticipation, Kelly Monaco (ex-Sam McCall) has given fans an update on her next move.

Monaco left General Hospital in November 2024 after her character, Sam, was killed off by Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober).

Now, Monaco is launching a podcast. According to her Instagram, she and Shanna Moakler have teamed up for a podcast called Bad Bunnies.

Sometimes It’s Good To Be Bad

“Buckle up, Bunnies…” Monaco teased, announcing, “Kelly Monaco and @shannamoakler are teaming up for a brand-new podcast, BAD BUNNIES!” The trailer shows photos and clips of both Monaco and Moakler. “Unfiltered. Untamed. Unapologetic. We’re bringing you Hollywood secrets, wild stories, pop culture tea, and real talk—nothing is off-limits!”

Fans will remember that Monaco and Moakler both modeled for Playboy in the 1990s. In 1996, Monaco, who had been considering a career in modeling, sent a photo to Playboy, and as a result, she became Playmate of the Month for April 1997. During her time with Playboy in the 1990s, Monaco was also featured in several Playboy Special Edition publications.

Former Castmates Offer Their Congratulations

Some of Kelly’s former castmates reacted to her announcement with congratulations. Kate Mansi, her former onscreen sister, commented, “ok sis.” Tequan Richmond (ex-TJ) shared heart emojis in support.

Maks Chmerkovskiy, who was Kelly’s Dancing With The Stars partner in seasons 1 and 15, posted three clapping emojis, while Bradford Anderson (Damien Spinelli) liked the post.

Longtime fans fondly remembered Kelly’s time on Port Charles and her early years on GH. One fan remarked, “I remember when you were on Port Charles… I would love to hear what that time in your life was like,” while another fan added, “I need all the GH scoop.”

There is currently no official debut date for Bad Bunnies. However, fans are eager to learn the story behind Kelly Monaco’s departure from General Hospital and why she was let go.
