‘GH’ Spoilers: Carly Furious Over Brennan’s Betrayal, Vows To Make Him Pay

General Hospital spoilers tease that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) is about to uncover some shocking truths about her potential love interest, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).

It looks like Jack has been manipulating Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), and now he’s framed Jason while using Carly’s daughter, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), for his own agenda. This could be the final straw for Carly, as she’s forced to confront Jack’s betrayal.

Sometimes Love Just Ain’t Enough

Jack may be developing feelings for Carly, but he’s on the verge of ruining any chance he had with her. Carly despises being manipulated, and what Jack has done to her daughter is beyond the pale.

For months, Jack has been using Carly without her knowledge, and soon she will learn the full extent of his betrayal. It’s clear that Jack is about to face Carly’s wrath—and possibly more severe consequences.

“Brennan’s presence in Port Charles and his closeness to Carly is no coincidence. However, his feelings for Carly were unintended—and those feelings will clash with his plans for Josslyn,” said the head writers of GH in an interview with SOD. Brennan initially got close to Carly to manipulate her and those around her.

Jack Brennan Has Always Been Shady

It’s no secret that Jack has always had a questionable past, especially with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart). He has been secretly manipulating Josslyn while using those close to Carly to his advantage.

Jack even went as far as to put Josslyn in danger when she shot Cyrus Renault (Jeff Kober) in self-defense.

Now, Brennan is covering for Josslyn by framing Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and feeding Carly misleading information while continuing his manipulation of Josslyn.

Brennan is making a huge mistake, as he’s also causing harm to Jason’s relationship with his son by allowing his arrest. This is likely to backfire on Brennan in the end.

Josslyn Jacks Has A Difficult Choice To Make

Josslyn trusted Brennan to take care of the situation and get Jason out of police custody, but Brennan reassured her that Jason wouldn’t end up in prison. However, both Josslyn and Carly will soon realize they can’t trust anything Brennan says.

The real question now is: Will Brennan survive once Jason is freed and finds out what he’s done? Could Josslyn end up having to make a tough decision and take care of Brennan to protect someone?

Brennan is on the brink of destroying his entire relationship with Carly by putting her daughter at risk. Jason has vowed not to take anyone else out, but Valentin’s life was also at risk during his time with his daughter, and Brennan could be involved in that too. Will Valentin return to settle the score with his former friend?
