Kristen Vaganos (Molly) told Soap Opera Digest, “It broke my heart, those scenes where I’m in the hospital with her and I’m so happy that she’s okay, but then I’m also learning all these details about Kristina going to see Ava and maybe being the aggressor.” “I believe that there has to be someone to blame when something this tragic occurs.”
Molly and TJ were both concerned that Kristina wasn’t the best fit and that something would go wrong during the surrogacy, but they couldn’t have predicted anything like this. And if reconciliation is even conceivable, it will be a long, difficult journey for these two sisters who have been at odds with each other their entire lives.
Vaganos said, “It’s terrible because it’s not just losing a baby—it’s losing a sister.” “I wonder if they’ll be able to recover from this. This is the height of treachery. When something like this happens to you, sometimes the person who was a part of it all along symbolizes that loss forever, and you can never look at them or love them in the same way.
She went on, “I really believe that’s what’s going on with Kristina and Molly.” I can no longer feel love, trust, or thankfulness for her for carrying the child because when I look at her, all I see is fault, blame, and betrayal. All that’s apparent to me is that she lost it, which is devastating and makes me feel resentful and angry. I don’t think that connection can be fixed, at least not right now.
