Ric Lansing’s return is definitely going to shake things up in Port Charles! It’s bound to create tension, especially given his tumultuous history with his family. Sonny Corinthos and Ric’s strained relationship is a major source of drama, and with Sonny being known for his short temper, things could get pretty intense.
On the flip side, Alexis Davis might be in a tough spot. While she may appreciate Ric’s support, the family’s history with him could complicate things, especially with her daughters going through their own crises. Ric’s arrival could either bring some much-needed help or stir up more trouble—maybe both!

General Hospital Spoilers — Sonny and Jason Won’t Be Kind
Ric and Sonny have never gotten along well. It wasn’t right with Sonny, who previously shared custody of Kristina Corinthos Davis (Kate Mansi) with Alexis during a one-night stand that made them co-parents, even when Alexis and Ric tried to establish an improvised family.
Despite the fact that Ric and Alexis had a significantly more serious relationship, Sonny never showed any respect for his long-lost brother. The affection is reciprocal because Ric was raised to believe that Sonny had shoved their mother down the stairs during Ric’s pregnancy because he was jealous of the new baby.
Ric would hate and dislike Sonny for the rest of his life because their mother abandoned him and his father and only took Sonny with her. He has, of course, fought with Steve Burton’s character, Jason Morgan, on occasion. Therefore, it’s unlikely that neither of these two will be happy to see Ric return to the city without a fight.
GH Spoilers Squeal Alexis Needs a Break
Even though Alexis is relieved that Molly Lansing Davis (Kristen Vaganos) has her father supporting her while she deals with the death of her kid, Alexis is nonetheless cognizant of the events that transpired between her and Ric in the past.
Similarly, he hasn’t exactly been present for his young daughter up until this point. Why would she come here at the worst time of her life? Will the drama he brings with him cause even more chaos?
Though Alexis will undoubtedly worry about those things, it’s unlikely that she’ll have much time to concentrate on Ric until he makes her. She’ll be too busy with Molly and Kristina.
General Hospital Spoilers — Elizabeth Has Come a Long Way
There’s no way we can overlook Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst). She and Ric had a unique marriage. Elizabeth quickly became so consumed with Sonny that she decided to get a divorce from Ric. But at that time, they weren’t quite over.
At one time, Ric made an attempt on Elizabeth’s life. He also paid a doctor to inform Elizabeth that she couldn’t get pregnant while he was drugging her without her knowledge or agreement. This prevented Elizabeth from getting pregnant and ultimately led to an embolism.
It would be an understatement to say that Elizabeth doesn’t trust Ric, but he insists that she really meant a lot to him. How will it feel when these two cross paths at this point? We are eager to learn more.
