ITV Coronation Street’s Bethany Platt’s exit ‘sealed’ as fans ‘work out’ tragic twist

Fans of Coronation Street dread a depressing conclusion for Bethany Platt and are convinced that the show has figured out a devastating twist for her.

Supporters of Coronation Street think they’ve discovered a plot twist concerning Lucy Fallon’s character, Bethany Platt.

Fans of the soap opera will recall that the character returned to the cobbles at the end of 2023 following a three-year hiatus. The former fiancée of Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard), Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan), was enraged when Bethany abruptly resumed their romance.

Daisy had recently cheated on Daniel with Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) when Bethany returned. This led to a new romantic triangle because Daisy was uncomfortable seeing Daniel pursue Bethany after her adultery, especially after she unintentionally caught them in a sensual moment.

On the other hand, Daisy is currently seeing Ryan and has become friends with Bethany, her former rival. Outside of Weatherfield, Bethany actor Lucy recently revealed that she is halfway through her second pregnancy with football player boyfriend Ryan Ledson.

Because of this, Lucy is probably going to take a maternity break later this year, and viewers of the soap opera have started speculating about potential exit plots, according to the Express. As fans of the soap opera will remember, Daisy and Daniel, who were once lovers, have recently become closer to the suspicious Kit Green (Jacob Roberts), a cop. Kit made his appearance earlier this year as the long-lost son of Jane Hazlegrove’s Bernie Winter.

But viewers are wary of Kit because of his questionable behavior, particularly in light of how he treated Bernie. Police officer Kit was a part of a scandalous scheme earlier this year in which he used the DNA of Lauren Bolton, who was missing at the time, as a prop to frame Nathan Curtis (Christopher Harper). Joel Deering (Callum Lill), the true offender, was still at large. In recent times, Kit has been observed surreptitiously working with criminal Sid and his T-shirt counterfeiting enterprise, offering to remain silent in return for half of the proceeds.

Kit’s coworker at the police station, Beth Tinker (Lisa George), whose son Craig is a counterfeit T-shirt designer, recently caught Kit in the act of collaborating with Sid. Beth declared that she had found Kit to be less honest than he had claimed to be, and she accused him of being crooked. Kit threatened to permanently remove Beth off the cobbles on Wednesday night, threatening to blackmail her and maybe endanger his career.

Not everyone, though, shares Beth’s misgivings about Kit. Daisy is also worried because Kit moved into the Rovers Return Inn for a short while before moving to Redbank. Jenny Connor (Sally Ann Matthews) made the observation that Daisy and her former partner Daniel had to be intending to buy this apartment. In addition, Daniel, Daisy’s ex-boyfriend, has stated that he doesn’t trust Kit and that there’s something off with Nathan’s conviction.

Viewers are hoping for a hot reunion after Daisy and Daniel recently interacted, and they’re flocking to Twitter—now known as X—to express their opinions. “I like Daisy and Daniel together,” one user commented, while another remarked, “I want to see Daisy and Daniel together again.”

A third added: “Now break up Ryan and Daisy and put her back with Daniel and him back with Bethany thank you #corrie.”

Another said: “I am so excited for more Daisy, but Daisy is rejecting Ryan’s suggestion to make things more serious. The end is coming.” Daniel assembles #corrie.

Another person begged, “Please, could Daisy and Daniel get back together? Divvying them up was a dumb move! #Corrie.

While one account stated: “Daisy and Daniel get back together challenge x #corrie,” another wrote: “So ready to get Daisy and Daniel back #corrie.” With fans hoping Daisy and Daniel reconcile, is it possible that Bethany will temporarily leave the cobbles if she gets dumped?
