EastEnders After his spectacular comeback to the soap opera, David Wicks, fans were left feeling a little sidetracked.
Michael French portraying the legendary soap opera star made his dramatic debut back in 1993. After making an appearance at dad Pete Beale’s (Peter Dean) funeral, the antagonist became one of the soap opera’s most well-known characters.
David, the infamous love rat of Walford, was embroiled in multiple major plots. He experienced a lot of drama throughout his tenure on the show, from fathering many children to getting into violent altercations.
Before realizing Bianca Jackson (Patsy Palmer) was his daughter, David almost started a romantic relationship with her. He also famously got into a fight with his stepbrother, Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt).

On Thursday’s show (October 3), however, David was back in the square after ten years. As followers will remember, Bianca, David’s daughter, has recently struggled with her mental health.
In addition to receiving a depression diagnosis, Bianca has developed an obsession with establishing that her sister Sonia (Natalie Cassidy), who is pregnant, was murdered by her husband Reiss Colwell (Jonny Freeman).
And because of her bizarre behavior, Bianca was ultimately ejected from the Queen Vic during Thursday’s installment (October 3). A unidentified stranger got out of a taxi as she collapsed onto a pile of trash bags.
The man who had been enigmatic turned out to be David Wicks, who was horrified by Bianca’s condition. Fans undoubtedly had a lot to say about David’s comeback.
