Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Donnell Turner’s character, Curtis Ashford, purchased the Savoy a few years back after deciding he no longer wanted to work for PI.

The Savoy rose to prominence as one of Port Charles’s most popular nightclubs for a few years. So much so that mobster Selina Wu (Lydia Look) noticed the restaurant.

Selina eventually managed to worm her way into using the club’s back room for her illicit, high-stakes poker games.

General Hospital Spoilers – Curtis Ashford lost the use of his left

After being shot more than a year ago, Curtis’s legs were momentarily paralyzed. His father Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) took over the day-to-day management of the club while he recovered.

Making sure Selina and her games were kicked out of the club forever was one of his first actions. Selina tried to purchase the Savoy herself since she was so unhappy.

Curtis, though, would not budge. After some time, he was able to use his legs again, but Marshall kept running the club, so he went to work for Aurora Media.

However, Marshall has now agreed to take his clarinet on a national tour. Furthermore, Curtis will not have the time to manage the club now that he is Aurora’s acting CEO.

Thus, expect Curtis to make a challenging choice in the upcoming weeks. Most likely, he’ll sell the club. He is not likely to entertain the idea of allowing Selina to purchase the club. That implies she might have to use someone else’s shadow to conceal any offer she makes.

Selina has made it abundantly evident that she made a good living off of her poker games. Should it be necessary for her to purchase the Savoy covertly in order to regain entry to the club, she will probably carry out that action.

If Selina tricks him, Curtis won’t be happy, but if the deal has already been made, there might not be much he can do about it. The already lethal situation for the people living in Port Charles will only get worse with the addition of that criminal element.
