First Dates legend Fred Sirieix eyes up ‘dream role’ as villain on EastEnders

Exclusive: Fred Sirieix, star of First Dates, may be eyeing his “dream role” as a “evil bartender” on BBC’s EastEnders instead of focusing on the culinary world.

Fred Sirieix, star of First Dates, might be joining a popular soap opera in the country.

The chef has disclosed that his “dream role” would be as a villain on BBC EastEnders. In an exclusive interview with Daily Star, Fred stated that he would be eager to pursue an acting career.

“I would really love to play someone very different from myself, like a villain in a crime drama,” Fred said to us. I also believe that working on a soap opera would be a ton of fun.”

He went on, “My dream role would be to play an evil bartender who gets arrested in Eastenders.” Fred also revealed that he will soon return to our screens alongside his well-known friend, so fans can expect to see more of him soon.

The TV personality revealed: “With Gino, I actually have a new show that will premiere on ITV in December. I’m not sure I can tell you much more right now, but stay tuned.”

Fred wanted to highlight Knorr’s new line of Red Wine and White Wine Stock Pots, so we chatted with him to promote the campaign. Fred said, “I’ve partnered with Knorr to explore the country’s problems with date evenings and provide advice on how individuals may improve their midweek meals and at-home date nights.

“Knorr recently conducted some research on the common mistakes Brits make when cooking at home and what turns guests off which is great because the more we know, the more we can avoid these faux pas!”

In order to keep us from getting tired of cooking at home, the French maître d’hôtel said, “The campaign is to celebrate the brand’s launch of the new Red Wine and White Wine Stock Pots, which can automatically add a touch of magic (and most importantly, flavor) to mundane mid-week meals.”

“This conversation is more important than ever because, according to Knorr’s research, 67% of us have cooked more at home in the past year and mealtimes are a great way to relax and reconnect with loved ones.”
