Wedding bells ring!
Coronation Street The actor who played David Platt, Jack P. Shepherd, has revealed significant information on his wedding on social media.
Jack announced his engagement for the first time in June, confirming that he had proposed while on a safari in Tanzania.
For the second leg of their journey, he and his companion Hanni Treweek continued on to Zanzibar.
They then took to Instagram to tell their fans the good news.

Although they haven’t revealed their plans, Jack and Hanni posted a post in which Jack revealed a great deal of information.
The devoted fiancée revealed his special day, and many followers were rejoicing over their heartfelt photo.
Hanni held her hand over Jack’s on a marble table in the Instagram photo, showcasing her enormous diamond ring.
Their save-the-date invite, a white postcard featuring a black picture of the Manchester skyline, was placed on the table.
“Save the date for Hanni Treweek and Jack P Shepherd’s wedding, July 26, 2025, Manchester,” the invitation said.
“When thinking about our save the dates, we wanted something unique that celebrates our home in Manchester, the place we fell in love & built our life together,” Hanni said in the post’s caption. If you look closely, Dave Draws murals are all over the city & we couldn’t be happier with what Dave has created for us!! I appreciate you creating something truly unique.
“We become Mr. & Mrs. Shepherd on July 26, 2025,” she declared in closing.

Social media users showered the happy couple with congratulations on their post.
“Congratulations to you both,” one person wrote. Another person said, “Aww, congrats, that’s wonderful news.” I’m overjoyed for you both.

Relationship history
The two have been together since 2017; Hanni was formerly a plot writer and researcher for Corrie.
But they didn’t begin dating on the set. Jack reportedly stated to The Daily Star, “We got talking, I made Hanni laugh, we had a few drinks, and we flirted.” That was it.’
After spotting one another in a grocery, they started messaging. “We started texting from there,” he continued. “I texted her afterward and said, ‘That was awkward,’ and she told me she thought she looked a mess.”
I saw the girl I like wearing Lycra, and I thought she looked fit! We went on our first date right away and had a great time.
