Coronation Street fans ‘work out’ what’s wrong with Dee-Dee - and she’s not pregnant

Viewers of Coronation Street are certain that they have figured out what’s wrong with Dee-Dee Bailey—who has been acting strangely lately—and it’s not pregnancy.

The mystery surrounding Dee-Dee Bailey has been solved by Coronation Street viewers, and it has nothing to do with pregnancy.

Since making her debut on screen in 2022, the character—played by Channique Sterling-Brown—has captured the hearts of audiences. But lately, Dee-Dee’s life has changed drastically.

She learned the shocking reality about her fiancé Joel Deering (Calum Lill), who turned out to be a predator who had been assaulting and grooming young girls, including Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton), for years.

Dee-Dee and other Weatherfield locals were horrified to learn of solicitor Joel’s “true” nature, and she vowed to hold him accountable.

Joel was then taken into custody and eventually freed on bond. But last week, he vanished, and authorities assumed he had taken his own life.

Joel’s body was found in a nearby river on Monday, October 14, which confirmed his death, according to the Liverpool Echo.

Joel was hit in the head with a heavy item before his body was disposed of, leading to the initial belief that he had committed suicide. However, a post-mortem investigation eventually proved that Joel had been killed.

But in the midst of Joel’s problems, people have been speculating a lot about Dee-Dee. She has exhibited strange behavior in recent episodes, acting as though she is experiencing hallucinations, nausea, and vomiting fits.

Fans of Coronation Street are plenty of theories, but some think they’ve figured out what’s really going on, while others think she might be expecting. On a Facebook fan page for Corrie, a fan declared: “Dee dee was acting funny again last night. went to the bathroom after taking a sip of her wine.”

“Was the sickness due to murdering him not pregnancy as she was supposedly waiting till after marriage?” proposed a more sinister explanation from a different viewer. Another fan agreed, lending credence to this theory: “Yeah, she did it. She refrained from having sex with him until they were married.

Another person added, echoing this sentiment: “She hasn’t slept with anyone yet due to her religious beliefs. She took his life.”
