Joel’s murder may have been planned by the Baileys…
Since he was included in the Joel murder probe, Ronnie Bailey of Coronation Street has been the subject of conjecture.
The episode that aired yesterday night, Wednesday, October 16, had a number of flashbacks that provided viewers with a hint as to how Joel passed away.
While investigators are following up on every clue, a fan on social media believes they have the solution. They claim Dee-Dee is the murderer and that Ronnie will bear the consequences.
Coronation Street: Ronnie Bailey comes under fire
Ronnie has already gained notoriety when he and Ed intervened to stop Joel from bothering Dee-Dee on the Street. They all plotted to perhaps hurt Joel in order to scare him away.
We found that Joel was most likely killed with a crowbar. Given their physical labor occupations, it also seems like a tool the brothers would have. Dee-Dee, Ronnie, and DS Lisa Swain had a drink last night.
But before they knew it, a yelling Betsy burst into the tavern after spotting her mother. She yelled at her about Mason there, who had been arrested moments before for attempting to throw away a crowbar.
Dee-Dee informed Ronnie about the investigation when Lisa pursued her daughter, revealing that a crowbar is currently being looked at. With a remorseful expression, Ronnie gazed off into the distance. After that, viewers witnessed a flashback in which someone—possibly Ronnie—was shown digging through tools to retrieve a crowbar, which they then held up.
Coronation Street: Ronnie covers for Dee-Dee?
Even though Corrie offered us a hint, one fan believes it would be too clear-cut to identify Ronnie as the culprit at this point. Rather, they suspect that Dee-Dee, Joel’s former fiancée, might be the mastermind.
A user on X said, “I assumed it was Ronnie. I can’t help but believe it was Dee-Dee (or perhaps Ed), and Ronnie disappears after taking the wrap.
This week, further suspicions about Ronnie and Ed will surface. Kit asks some questions to Ed and Ronnie. Ed’s alibi doesn’t seem to be in doubt, but brother Ronnie faces difficulties.
Dee-Dee acts out
Joel vanished while Ronnie was by herself at home, leading to a potentially illuminating investigation. Joel’s address is then discovered by police via his Satnav.
He tells the police that it’s there because he assisted Joel in moving out a long time ago.
Michael then reveals to Debbie, who is throwing Ronnie a party, that he and Ronnie really used his car. Debbie discovers her partner has been lying.
But might this be overly apparent?
Dee-Dee is going to come under more scrutiny because she started acting strangely this week. Kit gives her some severe criticism. She also extends an invitation for Frankie and Lauren to live at her apartment. However, when a social worker pays her a visit, she becomes overburdened.
