Scout on General Hospital — Everything You Need to Know

Sam informed the family in October that she was a match for Lulu and would be giving a portion of her liver to help save Lulu’s life. Sam reassured Scout that her mother would be alright, and she and Dante described the procedure to the kid.

Despite being a cute little girl, Scout from General Hospital has already experienced a lot in her short life! A number of twins, including Palmer and Poe Parker and Lori and Sevan Andonian, performed the part when she was born in 2017. The role was recast once more in July 2019 with Ella Ramacieri, who played it until December 2021. Cosette Abinante then debuted in September 2022 as Drew and Sam’s little daughter, a role she still plays today.

Despite using her middle name, Scout, Emily Scout Cain was named after her aunt, Emily Quartermaine. After Olivia Jerome abducted Sam McCall and forced her off a bridge, she went into labor, resulting in a very spectacular birth. After finding her in time, Jason Morgan assisted in the delivery of his daughter. When she was delivered, she wasn’t breathing, but Jason was able to save her life by doing cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Sam was rushed into surgery to stem some internal bleeding, but Scout was given a clean bill of health after paramedics arrived and hurried the mother and daughter to the hospital. Jason put the newborn baby on Sam’s chest, causing her to awaken from her coma. She was subsequently given the name Emily Scout Morgan by her parents. Additionally, they choose Sonny and Carly Corinthos to be Scout’s godparents.

Since Sam got toxoplasmosis the night she gave birth, it was thought that Scout might also get it when Sam was diagnosed. Fortunately, her tests were normal. Later, when Jason went back to Port Charles and it was discovered that her father was actually Drew Cain, his twin brother, Scout’s entire world was turned upside down! But since she was so young, it didn’t really matter. However, Scout was old enough to miss her father when Drew was thought to have died in a plane crash in 2019.

It was discovered in 2021 that Scout’s father had survived and was being held prisoner, just as she was getting used to her mother starting a new relationship with Dante Falconeri. Scout was apprehensive when Drew returned to Port Charles, but when they decorated a Christmas tree and celebrated New Year’s together, she quickly warmed up to her father and was glad to see him again.

Scout had to come to terms with the fact that her parents had new acquaintances as she grew older. She wondered who her father had, but she had grown accustomed to Dante living with her and Sam. Drew always had them, Sam assured Scout. Regretfully, Drew received a three-year prison sentence for insider trading in June 2023!

Sam and Drew decided that Scout would not be allowed to visit him while he was incarcerated or in the hospital following his near-fatal beating at the hands of other prisoners. After attending a special Halloween celebration with the other Port Charles kids, Scout was taken aback by Drew’s early release! Scout played along when her father suggested enrolling her in a pricey private boarding school because she was glad to have her father back, but she subsequently told her mother that she didn’t want to go.

As 2024 got underway, Scout confessed that she was scared to attend to school after having a nightmare on New Year’s Eve about her new teacher being a monster. Sam told her daughter that she was free to choose not to attend Westwood Academy. All of the family attended Scout’s birthday celebration, which Drew and Carly hosted at the Quartermaine home in March. Drew declared in July that he was running for Congress and that he was going to change his last name to Quartermaine. Scout was also eager to go to Quartermaine from Cain.
