The killer of Joel Deering is someone no one would guess, according to a soap expert, and ITV Coronation Street viewers are keen to find out who did it.
An old photo of the suspects on Coronation Street has provided a clue as to who killed Joel Deering.
Joel, played by Calum Lill, vanished after his acts toward Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) were made public, and his death was officially declared. Fans will remember that a man, subsequently revealed to be Joel, attacked Lauren.
Lauren survived the attack and ran away, but she was assumed dead. It was revealed that she was pregnant Joel’s child when she returned to clear Roy Cropper’s (David Neilson) name for her go missing and’murder’.
He continued to provide her money and’support’ in exchange for her silence, hoping to conceal his secret. But in the end, the truth came out, and everyone knew that Joel was the one who attacked Lauren and caused her to have a near-death experience.
However, now that things have turned around, Joel is the one who has passed away. The Liverpool Echo writes that when his body was found in a river, it was initially thought to be a suicide.
His serious head injuries upon discovery proved that he had been murdered, but by whom?
DC DS Swain (Vicky Myers) was forced to resign, and Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) is now in charge of the investigation. He appears no closer to identifying the person who killed Joel by breaking the law, despite having a number of suspects.
The two women closest to Joel, Lauren Bolton and his ex-fiance Dee-Dee Bailey (Channique Sterling Brown), are currently considered primary suspects; but, is it possible that either of them was involved in Joel’s death?
Although Mason (Luca Toolan) and Ronnie (Vinta Morgan) are also suspected, are they guilty? Dee-Dee’s father, Ed (Trevor Michael Georges), is also being questioned. While one memory shows Dee-Dee confronting Joel on that fateful night, another reveals that Ed and Ronnie vanished into the night with a crowbar. However, did they kill Joel?
It appears that Sharon Marshall, This Morning’s soap specialist, has hinted that the real culprit may be someone else.
Four of them—Mason, Ed, Ronnie, and Dee-Dee—are pictured together in the police station in an old spoiler photo that has surfaced again. Sharon suggests that the person in the photo might be someone completely different because there is an empty seat.
Is this a clue that it’s the person we least expect?
