What will happen to Nick and Toyah next?
In tonight’s Coronation Street episode, lovers Nick Tilsley and Toyah Battersby made the decision to try their hand at romance, seemingly giving away a lot about their future.
When Nick and Toyah began an affair in the midst of Leanne’s fixation with the Institute and Toyah’s health problems, it sent shockwaves across Weatherfield. The two became close as Nick helped Toyah through her cancer diagnosis and following surgery.
The two had already confessed their love for one another before Leanne found out about their affair. Nick and Toyah’s relationship came to a standstill as they attempted to handle a dire circumstance amid the fallout.
That is, until tonight, Sunday, October 27, when the two of them made the decision to give it a serious shot.
Additionally, the soap seemed to allude to wedding bells in doing so. Or is it only us?
Wedding bells in the air as Nick and Toyah reconcile?
Nick told Toyah he was ready to commit to their relationship and went to meet her.
“I desire you. I want you to return. “There will be no more justifications or retreating,” he informed her.
Nick responded, “You were right,” when she questioned him about what had led him to make this choice. Don’t we adore one another? If you still want me, we should just see where that goes.
“I do,” Toyah said in response.
Toyah’s delivery of the statement and her inquisitive tone of voice may portend the couple’s impending nuptials.
Coronation Street: What’s next for Toyah and Nick?
Nick and Toyah talked about their future while cuddling on the couch. The two did not want to upset Sam, who Nick had been able to persuade that he would still be his top priority, and Leanne, who was about to forgive Toyah.
Therefore, it could be best if they don’t talk about their relationship. “An affair without infidelity?” Nick enquired. “I think it sounds good.”
Perhaps postpone the wedding for the time being.
