Fans of Coronation Street claimed to have “no idea” when they spotted Betsy Swain and Lauren Bolton together away from the cobbles.
In the last week, the actors were spotted celebrating Halloween with a few of their co-stars. Sydney Martin, who joined the serial earlier this year as DS Lisa Swain’s daughter, and Cait Fitton, who portrays Lauren, both posted pictures of themselves on social media to commemorate the event.
It seems that Sydney and Cait organized a little party at her house, where co-star Liam McCheyne, who plays Dylan Wilson, actor Mollie Gallagher from Nina Lucas, Elle Mulvaney, who is well-known for her role as Amy Barlow in Corrie, and Summer Spellman star Harriet Bibby were also present.
Adam Hussain, who plays Aadi Alahan, Paddy Bever, who plays Max Turner, and Harry Lowbridge, who recently made his first on-screen appearance as Mason’s older brother Logan Radcliffe, were all there.
Cait captioned an Instagram photograph that featured several images of them all dressed up for Halloween, including Superwoman, Cupid, and Gru from the Despicable Me series: “Get in, Losers, We’re going Haunting.”
However, the first picture of Liam, Cait, and Sydney puzzled fans because it included the latter’s twin brother, Connor. Additionally, not all Corrie fans were aware that Liam had a twin who played in the soap opera, and they alternated playing a younger Dylan.

The comment “I didn’t realise Dylan was a twin IRL!” was made by @we_named_the_monkey_jack. The response from @imanipearsonx was: “Whatttt neither did i.” Added by @suzywoo2207: “Awesome pictures. “Am I seeing double?”
Liam continued by posting his own photos from the event, beginning with a picture of him and Connor explaining their outfit and commenting, “Krays have landed.” Halloween in 2024.
Tony Maudsley, a co-star on Corrie, called the concept “genius” as additional remarks about Liam and Connor being twins poured in. According to @andyholloway87, “I did not know you had a twin.” “Wait do both these lads play Dylan?” inquired @boba_t_editz. Added by @beardsleypaula: “I didn’t realize you had a twin.”
