Fans of Coronation Street were hoping to see Lauren Bolton in the lineup of Joel’s murder suspects, but she hasn’t shown yet!
The hunt for Joel Deering’s real killer is intensifying, with seven suspects currently on the list.
Whodunnit, though? Did Joel’s death have anything to do with Lauren Bolton?

Joel Deering was slain on the 27th of September. A short time later, his body was discovered in the river.
Police came to the conclusion that Joel had been slain, not suicide. He had been struck twice in the head with a crowbar or something.
Both Ed and Ronnie are currently under suspicion for conspiring to use a crowbar to discipline Joel. Dee-Dee and Mason had crowbars, too.
Carla and Lisa were also added to the suspect list, and Kit Green was the most recent person to be added to the list of suspects.
However, many are now questioning why Lauren Bolton, a key character, isn’t on this list!
Coronation Street fans baffled by Lauren whodunnit list absence
As viewers are aware, Lauren was questioned by Kit about her whereabouts on the evening of September 27th. Lauren also reported that night she heard a disturbance coming from the Platt garden.
Lauren would be the first to want Joel dead. He did, after all, groom her, assault her, and abandon her for his own death. Furthermore, he attempted to terminate their unborn child! The woman has a reason!
Fans now believe that Lauren would be a clear suspect. Even though she isn’t yet on the list, they believe she should be a whodunit suspect.
“With Lauren’s past history with Joel, I find it crazy that she hasn’t been a suspect yet,” one fan remarked.
Another viewer contended that Kit ought to look into Lauren instead of Lisa Swain because she is innocent: It’s too clear that it’s her. Lauren, that is, and she helped dispose of the body.
“It has to be Lauren or Kit because none of the old regulars are leaving,” a third person remarked. Kit is the only one with the strength to toss him into the river.
