A ‘dead’ EastEnders character might be making a surprising return to stir up trouble on Suki Panesar and Eve Unwin’s wedding day.
This week in Walford, fan-favourite couple Suki and Eve reignited their romance and decided to move forward with their wedding. However, their happiness was short-lived when Suki’s cruel ex, Nish Panesar, caught wind of it.
After a major twist in Wednesday’s episode (December 4), fans believe the couple’s wedding day is set to end in chaos.
EastEnders Suki and Eve back together
Recently, the villainous Nish took the fall for the murder of Keanu Taylor, who was killed last Christmas by Linda Carter. Suki, along with several other women from Walford, helped cover up the crime.
However, as Nish was dying, he discovered the truth and shocked the women by revealing that he had confessed to the police that he was the one who killed Keanu.
Before being sent to prison, Nish made Suki promise she wouldn’t marry Eve, a promise she agreed to uphold.
EastEnders’ Nish’s devious new plan
This week, Eve and Suki were back together on EastEnders, leaving Nish furious in prison. His anger has driven him to come up with a new, sinister scheme.
He’s now blackmailing prison staff, including a doctor, to falsely claim that he’s days away from death.
In Wednesday’s episode (December 4), Nish’s estranged family visited him for what they believed to be the ‘final’ time, as he faked being on his deathbed, struggling for breath.
EastEnders’ Nish makes a daring escape
After his family left, believing Nish had passed away, the villainous character quickly recovered. He informed his corrupt doctor that he was planning “devastating” revenge on Suki.
By the end of the episode, Nish was being transported out of the prison hospital in an ambulance. However, things took a dramatic twist when a car suddenly pulled up in front of the ambulance, and two armed men stepped out.
The mysterious men held the paramedics at gunpoint, and Nish emerged from the van, remarking, “It’s good to be alive.”
EastEnders fans anticipate major drama on Suki and Eve’s wedding day
The shocking twist left fans stunned, with many speculating that Nish might fake his death and make a dramatic return on Suki and Eve’s wedding day.
On X, one fan posted: “I KNEW IT! He escaped prison by pretending to be on his deathbed (just like I thought). And tomorrow that shady doctor tells the family he’s dead. I’m calling it now! There’ll probably be a funeral and everything. Then he’ll show up on #Sukeve’s wedding day. This is CRAZY.”
