EastEnders’ Stacey Slater, portrayed by Lacey Turner, could be rekindling a past romance, much to the excitement of fans.
The beloved character made her debut in Walford in 2004 and has since become a fan favourite. Stacey’s time on the soap has been marked by intense storylines, including her battle with bipolar disorder and involvement in murder plots. Her love life has also been full of twists and turns.
Stacey married Bradley Branning (Charlie Clements) in 2007, but their union was overshadowed by her affair with his father, Max Branning (Jake Wood). This scandalous relationship caused turmoil and eventually led to Bradley’s tragic death.
She was also married to Martin Fowler (James Bye) from 2016 to 2020. Stacey later had a passionate affair with Kush Kazemi (Davood Ghadami), and in 2024, she had a brief fling with yet another Branning, Jack (Scott Maslen).
It seems that Stacey may be reigniting her romance with Martin. Recently, Martin’s life was turned upside down when Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) returned, revealing she had been raising a child with him—something he had no knowledge of, according to the Manchester Evening News.
Martin has been trying to connect with Ruby and their child, but she has been resistant. However, the latest developments in Albert Square hint at a potential reunion between Martin and his former love, Stacey.
In Wednesday’s episode (December 4), Stacey teased Martin with some playful flirtation about his physique and even invited him over for a cozy hot chocolate with the kids. However, Martin turned her down, believing she was only interested in him because of Ruby’s return.
But EastEnders spoilers for later this month reveal that Martin and Stacey will have an emotional heart-to-heart, where Martin opens up and even makes a move to kiss her!
